AWHT Easter Blog Hop - March 2017

Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team.  We thought it would be fun to share some Easter projects, seeing as Easter is only about 3 weeks away!
Sale-a-bration is a great time to join or place a $90.00 order to get extra free items -ask me how!

You have come from the lovely Kate Morgan, Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken lines.  Now let's get started!

Today I have 2 cards, 1 easy Easter Basket and 1 Easter Banner to showcase.
I used the free Sale-a-bration stamp set Hey, Chick for my first 2 Easter Cards, I have had a lot of fun with this stamp set.  To make this card I used the Hexagons Dynamic Textured embossing folder, to get the chicken wire look I inked the inside of the folder with the Chocolate Chip ink pad and ran it through the Big Shot, I used some of my retired stock Paisley DSP.  I fussy cut the chicken and the egg and used the watercolor pencils to colour them in.

For my second card I used the same Hey, Chick stamp set, on this card I used the woodgrain embossing folder, I also fussy cut the chickens and used the lovely water colour pencils. On the bottom of the card I tied a knot in 3 places using the Kraft string, you could linen thread instead.

For my 3rd project I made an Easter basket using the Fruit Stand DSP and made two bows from the bow punch.  I just recently purchased this punch and I love it, I'm putting bows on everything.

My final project is an Easter Banner, I used the glitter paper which was a free Sale-a-bration item with my $90 order, the colours are just beautiful.  I used the largest stitched framelit for the main egg and the succulent framelits for my flowers and little dangling cacti, and of course my new bow punch. The 3 matching cardstock colours of Mint Macron, Bermuda Bay and Sweet Sugarplum are the perfect match for the glitter paper, Dazzling Diamonds is under the letters (which is now retired).  To hang the banner I used sweet sugarplum ribbon.

Lets keep this Blog Hop Hopping.
Next we have Tina Gillespie
