COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS
Monika O'Neill - monstampingcorner.com - Cookie Cutter Bundle & Jolly Hat Builder Punch. Stampin'Up! Australia, 2016 Holiday Catalogue.

Hi everyone, todays card is a fairly simple one but OH!! so cute.  All supplies are from the NEW HOLIDAY catalogue.   I used Cherry Cobbler card stock for my base card, Whisper White which I ran through the Bigshot using the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured embossing folder, I did use some retired DSP I had from last Christmas for the centre.  Using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle set I stamped the Gingerbread man using Crumb Cake, I punched out his buttons and bow tie with Cherry Cobbler and black for his eyes to make them stand out a little more, for his hat I used the Jolly Hat Builder Punch using Red glimmer paper and Dazzling Diamonds, I fussy cut the little candy cane he is holding and the round sweets on the side are from the Candy Cane Lane DSP (Designer Series Paper). Around the top I wound around some bakers twine and added a little silver Mini Jingle Bell with some linen thread peeled in half (made it easier to thread) I had some green metallic thread left from another project and added that behind the gingerbread and lastly the sentiment is from the Santa's Sleigh stamp set. To add a bit of dimension to the card I used Dimensionals behind the Gingerbread man, and the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed todays card, I have listed the supplies below so for anything you need to make this card just click on the picture and it will take you to my store.

***A little tip about adhering the cable knit mat to the card stock I use the multipurpose glue because it is heavily textured it seems to hold better***

If you would like a copy of the NEW Holiday Catalogue or the Annual Catalogue I would love to put one in the post for you just send me your details.

Happy Crafting!!!

STAR OF LIGHT CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi everyone, todays card is made from the Star of Light Christmas Bundle, which was CASED from Claire Daly from www.clairedaly.typepad.com.   You save 10% if you purchase the Bundle. The colours I used for the base is Soft Sky with a Whisper White mat. I stamped the star with Versamark and used clear embossing powder and heat set it.   The background was sponged lightly using 3 colours, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder and Tempting Turquoise.  For the stars and sentiment I stamped them with Versamark and used silver embossing powder and heat set, for the 2 stars I used Soft Sky card stock and silver foil using the die to cut out on my Big Shot and to finish off I used rhinestones, a very easy card to make but effective. Hope you enjoyed todays card, the list of supplies is below, if you need any of the items just click on the pictures and it will direct you to my store.
Thank you for stopping by, see you soon.

CABLE KNIT FOOTBALL JUMPER
Hi everyone, this St. Kilda Football card was an order I made, I was really happy with the way it turned out. I used the new Cable Knit Dynamic textured embossing folder, it is quite a bit thicker than the regular embossing folder which gives it a lot more texture, when using it you just put your card stock in the folder and put that on your big shot platform (no bottom cutting pad) then place a cutting pad on top and roll through, its best to pre-cut your card size before embossing otherwise it will just tear if you try to use your stampin trimmer.  The finished card size is 6 x 6 inch I wanted a bigger card so I could get that jumper shape and just made an envelope to fit using the envelope punch board.  For the arm and neck binding I used 3 straight pieces of black card stock and made it into a triangle and for the arms I used 2 of the circle framelits, then cut them in half.  I didn't actually measure I just eyeballed it so it looked even and trimmed off what I didn't need.  The alphabet stamp set unfortunately is retired, but that was what I had on hand, for the birthday banner I used a large oval framelit and embossed the Happy Birthday with red embossing powder.  For a bit more texture and pop on the card I used Stampin'Up Dimensionals.  I hope you enjoyed todays card, and of course you can make your own personalised football colours.  Any questions feel free to ask. I will list the products below for what I used to make this card.

*****just a note the new Holiday Catalogue has been out now for a week, it has so many great christmas stamps, dies and so much more,  I will be posting cards that I have made using some of these sets*****  If you click on the catalogue picture up on the right hand side you will be able to view it on line.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.
