Art with Heart Team Blog Hop - Add Texture with embossing November 2017

Tonight the Art with Heart team girls are sharing some creative projects by adding texture with embossing. Embossing can add a lovely dimension, and with our wonderful Stampin’ Up! products, we can create many different looks. These include Heat embossing using embossing powder, dry embossing using our textured folders or by adding embossing paste!  You have come from the lovely Caroline Manwaring Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken lines.
Now let's get started! sit back grab a cuppa and enjoy some time out of your busy day.  My first card I used Night of Navy Card stock, I used the Holly Textured embossing folder and coloured the leaves with old olive, berries in real red and crumb cake for the vines using Stampin markers.  The ribbon is old olive stitched ribbon,  I cut the trees and deers from Card front builder framelits.  The sentiment has been embossed using night of navy ink pad and is from Misteltoe Friends stamp set the red tinsel is from the mini tinsel set.  I finished off the card using rhinestones.

The inside of the card is stamped in night of navy and I used Peace this Christmas stamp set.
For my second card base I used Emerald Envy and trimmed the corners with my paper snips.  This time I used embossing paste this is a lot off fun to use.  The stencil is from Pattern party decoration masks, when the paste dried I sponged lightly Emerald Envy and Real Red with daubers.  The dragon fly is from the  Detailed dragon fly thinlets, the solid one is from emerald envy and the top on is using red glimmer paper. The sentiment is from Misteltoe Friends using real red ink and cut out from the oval stitched framelits and finished of with emerald enamel stars
The inside of the card sentiment is from Peace his Christmas, and the baubles are from Carols of Christmas.

The Heart of Christmas - Handmade Christmas Inspiration 2017 - Week 26

Hi everyone and welcome to week 26 of Christmas inspiration with Art with Heart Stampin'Up! Team Australia.    Wow!! how fast has this year gone only one week to go in this series of 27 weeks of Christmas, haven't all the cards been amazing, so much talent which has hopefully inspired you to try making them yourself. For my card I went for the 2 colour pastel theme which is one of my favourites, traditional colours are another.  The base is Soft Sky and the mat is Whisper White, I used Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper and Silver Foil Sheet paper for the pine cones and leaves and used the Christmas Pines stamp set to make the completed card, I stamped the stars and sentiment in Soft Sky and sponged around the edge of the sentiment.  The shaker bauble base is soft sky and dazzling diamond glimmer paper for the top, I used the round stitched circle framelits.  The sequins are from my stash (I love sequins so have a big collection) and I love anything shaker style.  I used the silver mini tinsel trim to hang the bauble and silver foil paper for the bow. To finish off I used medium sized Rhinestones.
The inside the card I used Smokey slate for the stars and pine leaves and for overlay of pine cones.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks card.  To see more beautiful inspiration from our very talented ladies you can view all our participants on the lovely Claire's blog  Have a great week and will see you again next week with some more great cards.

The Heart of Christmas - Handmade Christmas Inspiration 2017 - Week 25

Hi everyone and welcome to week 25 of Christmas inspiration with Art with Heart Stampin'Up! Team Australia.  Todays card base is Fresh Fig, for the top mat I used Whisper White.  I did use a few different stamp sets with this card, the first one was the Holly Berry which I stamped in Fresh Fig that is from  Father Christmas Stamp set, I then used the two snowflakes from the Colourful Season stamp set and I used Lemon Lime Twist and Crumb Cake, I stamped off once with each colour first, after the stamping I ran it through the big shot using the Holly Embossing folder.  I cut the largest circle from the Stitched Framlits set in the Gold Glimmer Paper.  The reindeer is stamped onto Crumb Cake card stock using Fresh Fig and the bow from Red Glimmer paper both framelits are from the Santas sleigh.  The Holly Leaves and Berries are Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig Card stock and I used the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  The ribbons are Lemon Lime Twist and Gold Metallic Edge.
For the Sentiment inside the card, bells and Holly leaves are all from the Oh What Fun Stamp set, this is one of my favourites.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks card.  To see more beautiful inspiration from our very talented ladies you can view all our participants on the lovely Claire's blog.  Have a great week and will see you again next week with some more great cards.
