2017 Stampin'Up Favourite Retiring Product/s Blog Hop

Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team.  We thought it would be fun to share some projects using our favourite retiring products from both the 2016 -2017 annual and 2017 Occasions catalogue!
Select retiring products have discounts of up to 50% off but are only available until sold out. Be sure to place orders before the sun sets on these items on Wednesday 31st May.  You don't want to miss out - ask me how!

You have come from the lovely Tina Gillespie, Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken lines.  Now let's get started!

It was hard to choose my favourite retiring products because I like them all!   I have made 2 Shaker Cards using Love You Lots stamp set using the Porcupine Stamp, the flowers are from In The Meadow Stamp set, the faux grass under the porcupines is from the Gorgeous Grunge  Stamp set and for the embellishments I used Calypso Coral Thick Twine and a metal Balloon from Party Animal range. Card stock colour is Soft Sky and Peekaboo Peach and watercolour pencils for the colouring.

For my second shaker card I used the same stamp sets this time using the ladybugs I fussy cut the ones on the bottom of the circle and used the Accorny Punch for the top, the DSP paper is from the Sending Love Paper Stack.

Your off to see the lovely Rebecca Jacovou next, happy hopping!!!

AWHT Easter Blog Hop - March 2017

Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team.  We thought it would be fun to share some Easter projects, seeing as Easter is only about 3 weeks away!
Sale-a-bration is a great time to join or place a $90.00 order to get extra free items -ask me how!

You have come from the lovely Kate Morgan, Blog Hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken lines.  Now let's get started!

Today I have 2 cards, 1 easy Easter Basket and 1 Easter Banner to showcase.
I used the free Sale-a-bration stamp set Hey, Chick for my first 2 Easter Cards, I have had a lot of fun with this stamp set.  To make this card I used the Hexagons Dynamic Textured embossing folder, to get the chicken wire look I inked the inside of the folder with the Chocolate Chip ink pad and ran it through the Big Shot, I used some of my retired stock Paisley DSP.  I fussy cut the chicken and the egg and used the watercolor pencils to colour them in.

For my second card I used the same Hey, Chick stamp set, on this card I used the woodgrain embossing folder, I also fussy cut the chickens and used the lovely water colour pencils. On the bottom of the card I tied a knot in 3 places using the Kraft string, you could linen thread instead.

For my 3rd project I made an Easter basket using the Fruit Stand DSP and made two bows from the bow punch.  I just recently purchased this punch and I love it, I'm putting bows on everything.

My final project is an Easter Banner, I used the glitter paper which was a free Sale-a-bration item with my $90 order, the colours are just beautiful.  I used the largest stitched framelit for the main egg and the succulent framelits for my flowers and little dangling cacti, and of course my new bow punch. The 3 matching cardstock colours of Mint Macron, Bermuda Bay and Sweet Sugarplum are the perfect match for the glitter paper, Dazzling Diamonds is under the letters (which is now retired).  To hang the banner I used sweet sugarplum ribbon.

Lets keep this Blog Hop Hopping.

First Art with Heart Stampin up Blog Hop for 2017: Occasions and Saleabration

Today I'm excited to bring a blog hop with some the awesome ladies in the Art with Heart Stampin'Up! Team.  Today we focus on the kids in our lives, from birthday cards to party ideas.
Sale-a-bration continues and this week we have three new additional items you can earn for free with a $90.00 order - ask me how!

You have come from the lovely Rachael Woollard, blogs are full circle so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links.

Today I am sharing 4 projects, these are mostly for the little man in our lives and can easily be converted to the pretty pink colours for the girls.
My 1st project is a party favour bag I made with my punch board using the Party Animal DSP Paper and I used the Star Punch for the top of the bag unfortunately you are not able to see it clearly and using one of the free sale-abration stamp set Tasty Trucks I fussy cut it, and using the new and gorgeous Water colour pencils to colour in with. I attached a gold fold back clip and glued a yellow star on it.  Calipso Coral seam binding ribbon for the bow and Calipso Coral thick Bakers Twine to hang the balloons.  Balloons are from the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlets.

My 2nd project is a birthday shaker card using the Carousel Birthday stamp set, I stamped the carousel in Calipso Coral, for the cup cakes I cut them out using the Up & Away Thinlets, I fussy cut the carousel horse and just cut around the Happy Birthday and a strip of Bermuda Bay striped ribbon under the banner.

My 3rd project was a fun one to make, I made this double windmill using the Cupcakes & Carousel DSP paper stack, I made a rosette to cover middle, the straw is covered with Calipso Coral Binding Ribbon and used some for the streamers with some Pool Party and Dapper Denim ribbon.

My 4th and last project is a favour box using the Curvey Keepsake Box Thinlet die, one of my favourites to use, I put a Rosette on the front and behind I attached the Star Blast banner from the Star Blast Edgelits Dies and on the right side 3 gold star sequins.

Here are the 4 birthday ideas, hope you enjoyed them...

You have come from the lovely Kathryn Mangelsdorf, blogs are full circle so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken links.

Today I am sharing 3 projects, the first one is a Recipe Book using a brag book I bought from the Reject shop as you can remove the covers and put your own in.
I used the Oh So Succulent Bundle and the Succulent Garden Specialty paper (DSP) and cut them to fit the pages.  I also used the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle.  For the ribbons I used Whisper white, blushing bride, mint macaron and glitter sweet sugarplum (which has now retired).  I used some sequins that I had left to add in the front cover, and whisper white bakers twine.  I added a key ring so you could hang it up in the kitchen for quick access.
So each page has a decorated DSP and a recipe card.  The cards were bought from Office Works.

My second project is a vintage wedding card.  I used the Falling in Love Specialty DSP paper, Lace Doilies and Falling in Love metal flower embelishments, I also used Sending Love wood embelishments and the mini paper clips from Sending love the ribbon is Very Vanilla Lace Trim.  The flower was cut out using the Succulent Framelits Die and sponged the edges with Blushing Bride.

And my final project is a matching Vintage Wedding Gift tag. I used pretty much the same items as I did for the wedding card.

Hope you are enjoying the blog hop so far.
