October blog hop the colour pink

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring the colour pink. We hope our blog hop inspires you to get creative with the various shades of pink that Stampin’ Up! offer in our collection of 53 different colours available.
You have come from the lovely Rachel Woollard For my pink card I chose Powder Pink card stock and used the Farmhouse Christmas stamp truck and turned it into a shaker card. I used the tin tiled embossing folder and used the champagne mist shimmer and lightly rubbed that over the top using a sponge dauber.  The car and sentiment is embossed in silver and I used the blender pens to lightly colour it in.  The ribbon is Powder Pink mini rufffled. The silver pine leaves are from the pretty pines thinlets.  The sequins are from my stash.

I also embossed the inside of the card with the pine leaves and sentiment.

Hope you enjoyed today card if you have any questions feel free to ask away.

I have 2 projects to share with you tonight, my first one is a Christmas card using the very cute Signs of Santa Bundle, I used red and light grey blender pens to colour Mr & Mrs Clause, the card base is Crumb Cake and the DSP is from Dashing Along.

For my 2nd project I made a TN Journal which I just love making.  I used the Joyous Noel DSP.  The cover and all the booklets are laminated (so sorry for some glare) I made the bookmark using a felt santa I had from my stash he was from Spotlight and the giant paper clip from K-mart.
I made this dashboard which has a self adhesive pocket on the front with a pen holder attached. Great for keeping receipts or any bits of paper.
This is on the inside front cover, I added another self adhesive pocket and used some of the Santas Workshop memories and more card, I laminated some of those as well.
Open pocket file for tags, receipts, memos etc.  The dear santa card I laminated and you can use a whiteboard marker on it, great for to do lists.
I bought a diary and covered it to add in the middle of the open pocket folder.
Picture of covered diary.
Finally the end of the journal where I added another self adhesive pocket on the back cover,so lots of storage space.

Hope you enjoyed today projects if you have any questions feel free to ask away.
Next up is the very talented Caroline Manwaring.

I also used the Merry Christmas Thinlets die and used silver foil paper to cut out the word Christmas.

The sentiment inside the card is from Merry Christmas to all stamp set, I also stamped and silver embossed the sentiment and the smaller christmas bauble and used the stampin blenders to colour it in.

July Blog Hop Designer Series paper

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring designer series paper. This month, Stampin’ Up! have a special on designer series paper, buy 3, get 1 free! We hope our blog hop inspires you to get crafting with your designer series paper.
You have come from the lovely Leanne Mitchell    Blog hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one.  There is also a list of participants at the end in case of any broken lines
The Designer Series Paper I chose is the Tea Room paper, this paper is not as thick as some of the others which make this perfect for the 2 projects I made.  The first one is a cute party hat which will be for my niece Lily on her 11th birthday.  I just used a cereal box or you can use any soft cardboard I pulled apart a cheap old party hat as a template and used liquid tombow to glue together.  The silver ribbon is retired but I needed silver so used it, the other ribbons are Rich Razzelberry Velvet and metallic edge Berry Burst.  The flower I made out of vellum which I have a few in my stash I made a while ago, you can use a pompom if you like.  I cut the silver circle out using the starburst punch and cut out the 11 with Rose Shimmer Paper and used the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set using Rich Razzelberry ink and popped it up with some dimemsionals.

For my second project I made an envelope flip book style to add small gifts.  I used 4 Whisper White envelopes and scored 1/4inch above the fold line of each envelope, I then added score tape just above the fold and a bit of liquid glue and adhered each envelope (if you google envelope flip book there are lots of tutorials very easy) after that its up to you how you decorate it, I also used a 2 1/4n inch punch and punch out a semi circle opening so you can get the goodies in and out easier.  The butterfly is cut out of Rose glimmer paper and I used the Springtime impression thinlet. For the border on each page I used the Edgelit Thinlet set these are beautiful and cut out easily.

The above picture is what I put in the inside of each pocket.  I made the little see through bags using vellum and washy tape and put in our new buttons. Its also a good way to use up your retired stock to give as gifts.

You have come from the lovely Kimberly Hern  Blog hops are full circles, so you can start hopping here and then at the end of each post is a link to the next one.
For my 1st project casing the catalogue I chose the Botanical Bliss Tag set, I love my tags you may have noticed so when I saw this set in the catalogue it was a must have for me.  I just changed the colours but pretty much copied them the same way.

My second project I chose the Springtime Impression Thinlets Dies to make this colourful card.  The card is on page 128 again I just changed the colours and instead of using ribbon I used bakers twine that comes in a packet of 4 colours and added some self adhesive basic sequins.

Hi everyone welcome to our May blog hop, for my first project I made this cute gift bag. The black part of the bag topper I cut out of black card stock using the largest oval framelit and the green is cut using the stitched labels framelits and the DSP is Share what you love.

My second project is a book mark, the cardstock is the new Pineapple Punch colour.  The Graceful Glass Designer vellum makes a perfect background.  I coloured the back of the vellum using Stampin'Up! markers, and then laminated it.
For this birthday card I used the new Lovely Lipstick card stock, the top of the card I used the Garden Impressions DSP, the lovely cream lace paper is from the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut DSP, I added some navy cord ribbon (which is retiring) in the middle. The sentiment is from the Painted glass stamp set and I used the Everyday Label punch and going around with a sponge dauber.  Flowers are made by punching out 2 DSP and 1 Vellum using the pansy punch (also retiring) and adding pearls in the centre of each flower.
My fourth and final project is a vintage style tag, loved making this one.  I used mossy meadows card stock (very happy this came back) for the tag which measures 3" x 6", I also sponged around the tag.  For the flower I once again used the pansy punch and sponged crumb cake using a dauber, when the ink dried I glued 3 together the 4th one I scrunched really well so it would stand up in the middle.  The DSP is also from Share what you Love, I sponged Crumb Cake onto a white doily.  The stamp set is the Hostess one Hand Delivered, instead of stamping the balloons I used the 1' circle punch and used the new In colour cardstock, Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call me Clover and Blueberry Bushell, I added some glue and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on top. I finished off using gold mini sequins, Rich Razzelberry and  Gold 1/8''.

Hi everyone, I am sad to see this set go, I have just loved using the Magical Day Bundle.  It was fun making this cute journal. I laminated the cover, the 3 books and the 3 bookmarks for extra strength which is great for carrying around in your handbag and it wont get wrecked.  There are lots of tutorials for these journals and variety of sizes to choose from they can be easily adapted to what size suits your needs, this journal measures   11 3/4 x 61/2. I made the rosette using Bermuda Bay card stock and cut a scallop circle using the 1 1/8 punch.  Inside the front cover I glued on a post it note pad and added a 1/2 inch strip of unicorn paper and 2 cute little post it note flag size, these I purchased from a variety store similar to the $2 shops. To keep the notebooks closed I used the birthday mini binder clips.
Pockets were placed on the front of each cover, 3 in total.  The picture above is the 1st booklet which I placed a diary I bought from Lincraft (you can pretty much buy them anywhere like the $2 shops).  I did not staple any of the pages from the dairy or lined pages so they could easily be replaced.
The booklet above is the second one, I could not find any paper pads this size so I bought one of the school exercise books from Kmart and used my guillotine, I pulled the cover off and left the staples in until I finished cutting.  I placed the closed coverless book in first and measured 6 1/4 across and cut the excess off down the side then turned around and and cut at 7 1/4 this is the width so it opens like a book.  You can make them to any size that suits you. On the top of the page I added a piece of mermaid paper to pretty it up a bit.
I made a card using the Whisper White narrow card and envelope set and placed that in the back pocket.
And lastly I made these 3 cute book marks one for each booklet, these were also laminated.
